It's Been COLD... Rode Sunday At Lake Sawyer! Nice Ride with Brent M Leading The Ride. Lake Sawyer, Black Diamond and the trails there are great riding and have some great stunts. I will be sessioning them a bit more to get my skills up. Work is off the HOOK right now! But Still Riding.. I Was suppose to work on some trail work projects at Tokul tommorrow but will be riding at Sawyer because the plans fell through. I am Just Getting my feel for Lake Sawyer! New NOMAD!!! Finally!!! So after 10 weeks of waiting, my new NOMAD finally arrived. I ordered the Fox 36rc2 TALAS Air fork with it. The whole time I have been waiting I really had wished I had gotten the New FOX VAN 36rc2. When we opened the BOX from santa cruz today guess what was on on top, the New VAN 36rc2. A shipping error was made and the VAN was shipped instead of the TALAS. The LBS said they could fix it or give me a refund on the difference. Although I would have to wait for the TALAS to come in (which has been on back order for 2 months and no sign of a shipping date). Santa Cruz also stated that The DHX 5.0 air shock I got on my frame was the Last one in their recent shipment and would also be a while before they got more from Fox. So I had them Put the Van36rc2. (Secertly cheering!)

Did My Twenty Mile Loop This morning with Great Success! I love my Road Bike more and More Every day. I ride A 06' Specialized Allez Elite. Compared to My Last Road Bike That I raced on (*IN 1989 (Schwinn Tempo)*) this Is quite a step Up. The Specialized just Rocked Today. Fast and Tight. Great Out of the Saddle and a Joy in the Flats. I am a chef at the Washington Athletic Club and have been working there for about 6 years. I grew up in Los Angeles and Lived most of my Life in Southern California. I was in the Army for a while, Lived In Alabama for a Stint, Was a Snowboard Instructor for Five years and Now live in the pacific Northwest. I WILL NEVER LEAVE THE NORTHWEST!!!! This place just rocks!!! There is just so much for the Outdoor Lifestyle!
