Janette and I headed up to Whistler for the First time this year. We shared a Condo at Glaciers Reach with Brent and Silvia. Stayed three nights and rode two. Picked up my season pass and was ready to ride Saturday morning. The sun was out and the trails were in great shape. I really Love Whistler. It is Such a great place with and very large selection of terrain. Got home Monday and got to bed early. Overall great trip, Not much traffic and was really glad that Janette got to see whistler for the first time! Great to also see so many people up there from Seattle. Here is a pic of Brent hitting the Big Joyride drop. We are heading back next weekend for some more action. Janette got to ride some of the XC trails with Silvia and really had a great time. We found a Campground for next time that was real nice and only 10.00 bucks per night. This should make the trip quite a bit cheaper. The Honda fit that we got for Janette did great with all of the gear and the Gas mileage was awesome. We brought alot of our own food and tons of beer :) so it was pretty economical for us. Canada is known for expensive staples like food, beer, and Gas so being able to make the trip on just over a tank was great! Like I said earlier there were a ton of people from Seattle there and almost 15 people from our listserv group. A bunch of people got season passes also this year so it should be more of the same whenever we go up there. Here is a picture of Tracy on Crank it up.
